Low-profile design
The FCP is a versatile low-profile platform scale. It is ideal for use in various industrial applications where a low loading height is required. As standard the FCP is supplied with a flat loading plate. To prevent ingress from spillages, welded edge plates can be specified as an option. A special pharmaceutical version is available with folded edge deck plate for use in hygienic areas.

Construction
The four load cells are equipped with adjustable feet to allow the scale to be levelled or to match the scale height to other equipment. The top plate is supported on a frame of steel hollow section. Cross members provide rigidity and prevent the top plate deflecting. There is a range of standard sizes to suit most applications but special sizes and features such as IBC guides can be incorporated.

ATEX Directive version for potentially explosive areas
If the area of use is Zoned as hazardous, then the ATEX certified version must be used. This complies with the latest European legislation and is suitable for both dust and gas hazards.

‘Legal for Trade’ Weighing
Versions can be stamped for ‘Legal for Trade’ weighing, even within potentially explosive areas.
